Project Description: As a major sub-consultant on this comprehensive program.


RBI was responsible for:

  • Project No. 522-Conceptual Design of Appurtenances for 8L-26 Runway Alternatives.  Appurtenances include A.O.A. perimeter fence, perimeter roads, service roads, determination of developable infield area using tower sidelines and Part 77 contours, access roads, taxiway bridges, utility corridor, location of ARFF and Airfield Ground Maintenance facilities, demolition of existing structures, utilities and infrastructure and area requiring clearing and grubbing.

  • Program/Project Management for Project No. 554-Terminal C Southeast Ramp Upgrade & Widening which included review of consultant design, construction documents, evaluation of glycol detention reservoir and coordination of survey and geotechnical investigation.

  • Project 509-Drainage Study for Ditch I Diversion using HEC-1 &  HEC-2.

  • Update of the Drainage Master Plan Map for Bush IAH utilizing GIS/Arcinfo software.

  • Survey Manager for topographic surveys for ditch designs, earthwork volume calculations for runways, taxiways and ditches, setting up survey controls and boundary surveys for easements etc.
