Project included structural design of a new influent 68-foot diameter lift
station, a new influent and RAS splitter box with stairs and platforms, new
electrical conduit support system and aeration basins.
was for structural engineering. Provided structural design of a new 68 ft.
diameter 30-ft. deep lift station to be built as a caisson construction
method. Designed the steel grating access platform around the pumps and
valves. Designed pipe support hangers for 36” diameter effluent header.
Also provided structural
design for new operations and control building and miscellaneous stairs,
ladders and platforms.
Designed structural steel
supports for compressed air pipe for gravity loads and for thrust loads due to
expansion/contraction. One end of the steel support frame supported the 30”
diameter compressed air pipe and the other end of the frame is anchored to
the existing aeration basin wall with epoxy anchors.
